Have you ever looked around and thought they are so lucky? Maybe they have the perfect house, nice wardrobe, or a family that is everything you've ever wanted in life? Me too. But, as the old saying goes, just because their shoes look nice doesn't mean they don't walk around with holes in their socks.
At 40, the author reflects on her long journey through infertility and asks where to go from here. Encouraging others, she contemplates if it's time to pursue new dreams or continue waiting. Despite doubt, she chooses faith, vowing to embrace her calling and continue to wait for the miracle she believes in.

As the years have passed, the gifts, cards, and text messages cheering me on in my battle with infertility are few and far between. And I get it. As time marches on, I have come to realize people are naturally excited for you in the beginning, as everyone around you has their cheerleader pom-poms out, letting you know they are cheering you on. And obviously, arriving at the end of your journey is also an exciting time filled with lots of celebration and rejoicing over the goodness and faithfulness of God. But then there is the middle. What can you do for the person in the middle?
