Waiting for Baby Bird Ministries is a 501(c)3 non-profit, faith-based Christian organization that seeks to radically empower women and couples navigating through infertility and recurrent miscarriage with hope for the impossible and healing for their bodies while using God’s word. The purpose of these Statements of Faith is not to exclude and isolate but to provide a common ground of truth that serves as the basis of what this ministry believes, hopes, and trusts in concerning our faith and mission.
- We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, trustworthy, and true, without error, Word of God. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
- We believe Jesus Christ is God, in His virgin birth, paid the price for sin through His shed blood, and rose from the grave to sit at the Father’s right hand. (John 1:1; Matthew 1:18, 25; Hebrews 4:15; Hebrews 9:15-22; 1 Corinthians 15:1-8; Acts 1:9-11, Hebrews 9:27-28).
- We believe only one God eternally exists in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19)
- We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, who lives within each believer and guides Christians so they are enabled and empowered to live godly lives. (John 14:15-16; Ephesians 1:13-14)
- We believe that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Therefore, His word (the Bible) wasn’t just written to show us what He did but does. (Hebrews 13:8)
- We believe that miracles are who God is and what He does. (Psalm 77:14, Jeremiah 30:17; Exodus 15:26; Psalm 30:2)
- We believe that infertility, miscarriage, and anything that causes it is not from God. We believe God’s heart is for the barren and those suffering through miscarriage. (Lamentations 3:33; Exodus 23:26)
- We believe that no sickness, diagnosis, financial hindrance, or any other obstacle will stop God from fulfilling the desires He has planted in the hearts of His children. He has the final say, and His word trumps every opinion or doctor’s authority. (Proverbs 16:1; Psalm 81:16)
- We believe nothing is impossible, and God can give you honey from a rock. This means God can and will provide despite your diagnosis, situation, or obstacle. Even if you don’t ovulate, even if sperm is non-existent, even if the finances are not there, even if…we have a God who provides even now. He doesn’t need conditions to be perfect. As Psalm 81:16 says, He can provide you honey if only he has a rock. (Psalm 81:16; Philippians 4:19; Mark 10:27; Luke 1:37; Jeremiah 32:27)
- We believe God hears our prayers and rewards those who diligently seek Him. (1 John 5:14-15; Psalm 34:15; 2 Chronicles 7:14-15; Psalm 37:4; Hebrews 11:6)
- We believe that worship, speaking God’s word, and prayer are our greatest weapons against the enemy. (James 4:7; Hebrews 4:12; James 5:16)
