As a blogger, it is always interesting and fun to go back and look at your blog posts written in that year. And not just to see which ones gained the most views, but also to look back and reflect. Because for me, each blog post doesn’t just tell a story of the events that were taking place in my life at the time, but also the events that were taking place in my heart.
Events of joy. Happiness. And growth.
But also events of sadness. Heartache. Fear. And a lack of trust in my God.
Looking back I am grateful for the events, because I can see how each one shaped me into the person I am today.
A person who fears less. And trust more.
A person who is more secure in her hope. And more confident in herself.
And a person who is more understanding of life’s struggles. Because I know that without them I wouldn’t have found my true strength. Or my will to persevere. Or my faith to press on. And press on. And press on.
I can’t wait to see what 2018 has in store for me. Hopefully fewer hospital bills…unless they are from giving birth. hehe
