When a Miracle Seems Hopeless

On this day over 2,000 years ago, many stood in the streets and mourned because on that Good Friday with the crucifixion; it was their worst day. It was in that moment the worst series of events Jesus’ followers had ever painfully witnessed. And even though Jesus had told them that He would be raised from the dead, they weren’t 100% certain.

They weren’t convinced.

And friend, maybe that is where you are today. Infertility has taken over, and it feels like it’s the worst. It’s the end. The death of your dreams, your hopes, and your plans. Because even though you have been told that it will one day be over, you are uncertain. You still doubt and worry and fear. You can’t help but question His plan for your life and if His Word is True. And you can’t help but wonder if your soul will always have this ache. Or if your heart will one day beat again.

But friend, can I encourage you with this?

If the pain and heartache of Friday and Saturday hadn’t happened thousands of years ago, then the miracle of Sunday’s resurrection wouldn’t have taken place. There wouldn’t have been the greatest story ever told. Or the biggest miracle was ever given. And so this is true with your problems. And with your worst moments. You must also get through the tough times and the painful and even unfair gut-wrenching Fridays and Saturdays with hope and faith that the Lord will fulfill His promises, and you will also have your Sunday…Your very own amazing story to tell with one of the greatest miracles ever given.

When all seems dead that's when the miracle happens
