Ah, Sovereign Lord, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and outstretched arm. Nothing is too hard for you. Jeremiah 32:17
Trusting in someone you cannot see does not come easy. It wasn’t easy for Abraham to believe he would be a father when his body was old, and his wife was barren. But he trusted God anyway. It wasn’t easy for Noah to build an ark and believe in a flood when he had never seen rain. But he trusted in God anyway. It wasn’t easy for Moses to believe that he and his people would escape Egypt even after God spoke to him from a burning bush. But he trusted in God anyway. It wasn’t easy for Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego to believe they would be saved from the fiery furnace. But they trusted in God anyway. It wasn’t easy for David to believe he could kill Goliath with just a slingshot and a pebble stone. But He trusted in God…anyway.
It is not easy for you or I to believe that God will do the “impossible” either, but we must trust in Him anyway; because the God who worked in the lives of ordinary men and women in the bible will work in our lives, too if we place our trust in Him.
He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8).
Friend, what impossible situation are you facing today? I know that for me, being diagnosed with infertility, the task of becoming pregnant naturally seems impossible; too big and hard for me to accomplish. But I am trusting in God…anyway.
Whatever your “impossible” might be, know that there is not one single condition or circumstance in your life that is too difficult for God to change. We tend to view our circumstances as either ‘big’ or ‘small,’ ‘hard’ or ‘easy,’ but they are all equal to God.
Nothing is out of His reach, and nothing is too hard for Him.
Do you trust Him with your “impossible” situation today?
If not, now is a good time to start. He is faithful.

TRUST- good one Elisha. ..
I had a boss once who said “trust” is a great word because U are in the middle and you’ve got a cross on either side. (And it works really great if your name is Rus).
I have never heard this before! I love this!
Love this! Also, I saw in a comment you had written for someone else about a couple of books that helped you with hope and trusting God in all this Infertility business. Could you let me know the names of them please? Thank you!!! 🙂
Yes!! I will even take it one stop further and send them to you 🙂 Be looking for some snail mail sugars!!! 🙂
Awww, Thank you so much!!! I need to get some snail mail out myself…I apologize for not getting anything out…Daycare started back full time and I’ve just been busy getting four 1 year olds on the same schedule (for the most part, lol).

Amen – Nothing is too big for God!
Amen. With God all things are possible!
another verse of mine is Matthew 19:26 which says, Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
LOVE it!
Preach it, girl! Love Jeremiah 32:17… One of my favorite verses 🙂
Awesome post! We don’t know each other, however, I am believing with you in faith for little Josiah!!!

Trusting with you friend!!!!! Waiting expectantly and putting ALL hope and trust in HIM!
amen!! Trusting in Him with you my twiny!
This post spoke so deeply to me! More often than not, we look at our circumstances and not at our mighty God for whom nothing is impossible. Thanks for the beautiful reminder to trust in our Lord through whatever situation, good or bad, bleak or promising.
You are so right! I’m guilty of looking at my circumstances as either too big or small…to hard or easy. For example, when I get a headache, I think “no biggie” because God will take care of this and I’ll be fine. But when something like infertility or a sickness strikes a family member, I think it’s impossible and too hard. How silly is that thinking? lol! I think our problem lies in my faith. I have faith for my headache to go away and so it does…but faith for infertility? not as confident at times :/
Nothing is impossible! The word itself says Im possible! 🙂
Thank you for this.. I was truly struggling today.
I am so sorry to hear that sugars! I know that some days are going to be easier than others and you are so awesome in taking each emotion as it comes. I admire the strength you have. I truly do.
